Spot the Sugar Mouse!

Hidden in the shop windows of Dulverton are six sugar mice.

Spot them all and you could win a prize.

Congratulations to Katie Wingfield

who spotted all 6 mice in 2009!

She won a prize kindly donated by Number Seven.

So where were they hidden this time?

EXHIBITION OF NATVITY SCENES

10- 5pm in the Upper Town Hall

You are invited to view a delightful exhibition of Nativity Scenes kindly

loaned by local residents. A very special Christmas treat…

New for this year winter snow scenes.

Also spot the nativity figures hidden in the local businesses and you could win £20.

Entry forms available at £1.00 each Proceeds raised will go to the Somerset St Margaret's Hospice.

 

Throughout the afternoon and On the Streets….

Look out for the wandering Falconer with his regal birds of prey.

 

Merlin the Juggler and

Captain Coconut with his amazing bubbles will be performing between 2.30 and 5pm

Take a ride with the Block Shire Horses, Bobby and Billy.

Leaving from union street, jump on board the dray for a ride around town.

Got cold? Need to warm up and eat?

The restaurants, pubs and tearooms all extend a warm welcome.
We recommend booking ahead in some venues to avoid disappointment

In addition the Tongdam restaurant has a display of local crafts.

The exclusive cake Company will also have an outside stall with lots of tasty treats.


2pm Father Christmas arrives

in his carriage drawn by two Shire Horses.

Greet him outside the library as he makes his journey to his winter workshop

at the heritage centre.

Bampton Hand bell ringers will be providing musical accompaniment

whilst you wait to see him in the heritage centre court yard.

Catch them between 2.30 - 3.15 and 3.45 - 5.00

He will be on present wishing duty until 5.15.

2.15 Dulverton Middle School Choir will be performing from the Town Hall Steps

3pm All Saints Church Christmas Bazaar

Mulled wine, a Chocolate fountain, Christmas crafts all in twinkling candlelight and to the accompaniment of church organ music. Delights all the senses.

there will also be Christmas based crafts for all the family between 3 and 5

3pm - 5pm Wiveliscombe Town Band perform in Fore Street.

 

*5pm Torch lit Walk with an exmoor park ranger.

*Please note change in time previously advertised

Dress appropriately, mince pies and hip flasks optional but do bring a torch.

 

6pm Carol singing by the light of the tree

Join the three churches of Dulverton as they celebrate the season. this promises to get you in fine festive cheer. Followed by a finale of white fireworks. with the church providing a spectacular backdrop this will once again be a visual feast. enjoy!

Additional parking is provided on the day.

Look out for signs and our marshals who will advise you on where to park.

We would appreciate your co-operation as this will avoid unnecessary congestion
