loaned by local residents. A very special Christmas treat…

Throughout the afternoon On the Streets….

Look out for the wandering Falconer with his regal birds of prey.

Plus magician Dave Hendry will be baffling your eyes with tricks galore.

Captain Coconut and his amazing bubbles!


Take a ride with the Suffolk punches.
Leaving from outside the library, jump on board the dray for a ride around town.
£2.00 a ride


Got cold? Need to warm up and eat?

The restaurants, pubs and tearooms all extend a warm welcome.
We recommend booking ahead in some venues to avoid disappointment


2pm Father Christmas arrives

in his carriage drawn by two Suffolk punches.

Greet him outside the library as he makes his journey to his winter workshop

at the heritage centre.

He will be on present wishing duty until 5.15.
£2.00 per child

Post him a letter in our special Santa Express post box located outside ‘Floribunda’ throughout December.

 


2.30 The Dulverton Music Academy Choir will be singing from the Town Hall Steps.


2.30 & 3.45 Bampton Hand bell ringers will be providing musical accompaniment as youwait to see Father Christmas.


3 pm & 4pm Wild Wood Storytelling.

Enchanting and magical tales by the fireside at Number Seven, 7 The High Street.


3pm & 5pm Wiveliscombe brass Band perform in Fore Street.

4pm Assemble outside the Exmoor National Park centre where you can join a ranger who will lead you on a torch lit walk through the woods. Wear suitable clothing and bring a torch.mince pies and hip flasks optional! This event is free but a donation to Starlight would be appreciated.


5.15 & 5.45 Energetic dancing from The West Somerset Morris Men

 


6pm Carol singing by the light of the tree.

Join the three churches of Dulverton and their new choir as they celebrate the season. Accompanied by Wiveliscombe brass Band this promises to get you in fine festive cheer.
Followed by a finale of white fireworks; with the church providing a spectacular backdrop this will be a visual feast. enjoy!

Firework display to take place at approximately 6.30pm

7pm Live music at the Lion Hotel.

Tim Basset international elvis tribute star! Guaranteed to be a great evening.

Spot the Sugar Mouse
Hidden in the shop windows of Dulverton are six sugar mice. Spot them all and you could win a prize. Competition runs throughout December. Closing date Christmas Eve.
